Fichtner provides technical advice to PKA/ PFA for their investment into Walney 3 & 4
Fichtner Consulting Engineers Ltd has advised PKA and PFA, two leading Danish pension funds, on their joint acquisition of a 50% stake in the Walney Offshore Wind Farm Extension project, from Ørsted (formerly known as DONG Energy). The 659MW project is currently under construction with an expected commercial operation date in Q1 2018. Once completed , it will be the world’s largest operational wind farm.
Fichtner acted as technical advisor to PKA and PFA on the transaction.
