This is a permanent role for an experienced IT Project Analyst. You will work within our small information technology team in our Stockport, Greater Manchester office managing software coding projects for bespoke, in-house programs including maintenance of existing programs/databases and the creation of new ones. There will be some interaction with our overseas developer. We are looking for a good general secondary level education including English and Maths and a recognised higher education qualification in Computing;

What we are looking for:

  • Project management/delivery experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to work autonomously and, when required, as part of a small IT team
  • Technical writing ability
  • Familiar with Microsoft 365 environment, for development/automation purposes (Power Apps, Power Automate, Logic Apps, SharePoint, Power BI, Business Central, Dynamics CRM, etc.)
  • Database familiarity, ideally with some SQL interrogation experience (MySQL and MS SQL);
  • Familiar with AI concepts and implementation
  • Familiar with Information Security concepts
  • System management experience
  • System testing and troubleshooting experience; and
  • Familiar with software concepts, including, but not limited to frameworks, APIs, web, and SQL servers. Prior experience of managing third party software and developers, to include the following:
  • Analysing business process requirements
  • Translating requirements, developing software specifications and overseeing their implementation
  • Communicating effectively with third party programmers
  • Bug management
  • Interacting with users and stakeholders
  • Deploying software, databases, and websites
  • Produce software documentation.
