This permanent position is based out of our Stockport location as part of our emerging technologies team. Hybrid working offered.

What we are looking for:

  • A good chemical engineering degree
  • Chartered Engineer status, or actively working towards this
  • Solid work experience, post degree, with direct involvement in the waste gasification or anaerobic digestion (AD) or biogas/biomass sectors with experience gained from project development, plant operations, plant management, and/or engineering consulting
  • Sound technical knowledge to include waste gasification/biomass/AD feedstocks, AD processes, biogas upgrade, biomethane grid injection, and gas transportation
  • Proven experience with the multi-disciplinary delivery of small projects, including budget management and delivery programs
  • Ideally experience gained carrying out technical due diligence reporting on behalf of investors and/or vendors
  • Experience of construction projects and technical contract drafting
  • Good communication skills, with experience of communicating effectively with both engineering and non-engineering skilled audiences
  • Full driving licence and able to travel in the UK, Ireland and occasionally overseas
  • Competent computing skills using MS office suite
