As reported in ENDS last week, the Environment Agency issued the first Medium Combustion Plant environmental permit to Conrad Energy (Holdings) Ltd (“Conrad”) in December 2018.

This was the first of approximately 30,000 permits required for medium combustion plants operated in England and Wales over the next ten years. The installation comprises eight natural gas engines totalling 47.7MW rated thermal input.

Fichtner prepared and submitted the permit application documentation on behalf of Conrad and provided support throughout the determination process.
