Within the UK and Ireland our engineers and consultants are involved in some of the most innovative energy projects across the UK providing design, intellectual, and engineering services to developers, investors, owners, and operators. We are looking to engage an IT Assistant on a fixed term basis for a 12-month period. You should have prior general IT support experience (inc. the building of PC hardware) and will be based at our Stockport office supporting our user base of 200+ people across the UK and Ireland. It is envisaged that this role will commence in October 2025.

What we are looking for:

  • An NVQ Level 3 in IT or General Computing
  • Prior experience with IT support
  • Prior experience with business administration
  • Effective communication skills
  • A responsive and enthusiastic personality
  • Routinely respects and understands data confidentiality and corporate IT security
  • Shows a commitment to their own continued learning and development

The role will involve:

  • Installing and removing software
  • Assist with the procurement of IT hardware and software
  • Basic technical troubleshooting for all IT users in the UK and Ireland including our construction site-based individuals, working alongside other senior team members to resolve basic queries
  • Assist with the build/configuration of new laptops and mobile phones
  • Any other reasonable IT tasks
