We are the Owner’s Engineer and Lender’s Technical Adviser for the 10 MWe Hoddesdon RDF-fired gasification plant in Hertfordshire, which successfully achieved financial close in 2015.

Fichtner provided technical support during the development and construction of the Ferrybridge Multifuel plant including concept design, specification production, and specialist engineering support throughout the construction and commissioning phases.

Fichtner provided Lenders Technical Adviser and Owner’s Engineer services through project development, construction and commissioning of Mercia Waste Management’s continued delivery of the Hereford & Worcestershire Waste Management Services Contract.

We provided technical support and due diligence during the proposed conversion from coal to biomass at the 1,980 MWe Eggborough plant.

We are acting as technical adviser and Owners Engineer for Cramlngton and Speyside biomass CHP Plants on behalf of Estover Energy.

We acted as Owner’s Engineer during the development and construction of the 6.8MWe biomass CHP plant for the Combination of Rothes Distillers Energy (CoRDe) comprising the major distillers of Speyside in Scotland.

Having provided technical assistance during development, Fichtner were appointed Owner’s Engineer for the Port of Belfast EfW project, which will utilise advanced thermal treatment technology.

With construction underway, we are acting as Owner’s Engineer for this state of the art Energy Recovery Facility in South London.
