Acting as technical adviser to the buyer, we carried out detailed site visits and interviewed operators and site management on behalf of our client. We produced a red flag technical report. The two CCGT plants were the Langage CCGT (consisting of two gas turbines and one steam turbine in a multi-shaft arrangement) and the South Humberbank CCGT (Phase 1 consisting of three gas turbines and one steam turbine in a multi-shaft arrangement, and Phase 2 consisting of two gas turbines and one steam turbine in a multi-shaft arrangement).

As part of our service we provided;

  • a review of the power station design and performance information;
  • a review of maintenance records and planned maintenance work;
  • a red flag due diligence report covering technical and commercial implications affecting the potential purchase. We presented the report findings at the clients’ offices.
