Foresight Group has historically funded and or acquired solar Photovoltaic projects under both the Feed in Tariff and Renewables Obligations Schemes. Fichtner has supported Foresight across their portfolio as Technical Advisor and Contracts representative.
Our roles for Foresight Solar Projects included the provision of Technical Due Diligence services and Contracts representative including:
- review of the project technical design pre/post financial close;
- independent energy yield analysis;
- construction monitoring;
- Completion services.
Fichtner has supported Foresight with ground-mounted solar projects since their first project in Kent in 2011. Since then, Foresight has developed a portfolio of more than 50 projects in the UK, with total generation capacity approaching 600 MW. The generation capacity of the individual projects range from 2MW to 50MW.
