Next Energy Capital is a leading specialist merchant bank to the renewable energy sector with a pipeline of c550 MW of UK solar. They have funded and acquired a pipeline of ground mounted solar Photovoltaic plants in the UK. Fichtner have supported Next with both pre-financial close and acquisition due diligence services.

Our roles included the provision of Technical Due Diligence services and Completion services including;

• review of the project technical design pre/post financial close;
• review of project technical design post construction;
• independent energy yield analysis;
• construction monitoring,and;
• Completion services.

Fichtner started working for Next Energy Capital in 2014, and in a period of approximately 18 months we have assisted in the development, funding and delivery of more than 25 separate ground mounted PV projects, with a combined generation capacity approaching 300MW.
