Capable of processing up to 400,000 tonnes of residual waste, the new EfW facility will have capacity to generate up to 32 megawatts of electricity – enough to power approximately 50,000 homes, equivalent to half the homes in South Gloucestershire.
Fichtner carried out;
- the preparation and submission of the Environmental Permit for the proposed EfW facility at Avonmouth;
- air quality assessments to support the EP and planning applications.
