The Templeborough Biomass CHP Plant is being delivered by Interserve Construction Limited and Babcock Wilcox Volund acting as a joint venture. The facility is fuelled by waste wood and will generate 41 MWe, equivalent to powering 78,000 homes and saving 150,000 tons of CO2 a year.
As Owner’s Engineer our services during the construction phase include;
- project management and contract administration;
- design review;
- programme review;
- HAZOP study;
- site quality checks;
- off-site tests and inspections;
- commissioning and testing support.
Templeborough biomass power plant will be one of the largest in the UK. Fichtner supported the project from the initial conceptual stage, and is now actively involved in the management of the EPC Contract for the construction of the plant. We are delighted to be able to support CIP with its delivery of a range of renewable energy projects across the UK.
