Fichtner acted as Lenders Technical Adviser, Owners Engineer and CDM Coordinator during phase 1 and phase 2 of the Runcorn Thermal Power Station construction, and are currently providing ongoing operational support.

Fichtner provided a comprehensive engineering, commercial and environmental feasibility study into the development of a biomass fired power station at the P&G West Thurrock manufacturing facility in Essex.

We acted as Owners Engineer and CDM Principal Designer for this 85,000 tpa EfW plant in Peterborough, generating 7.25MW of electricity.

Fichtner completed technical due diligence on behalf of Octopus Investments for the review of two onshore wind farms located in Yorkshire.

Fichtner worked in partnership with AREVA, the proposed EPC Contractor, to deliver a first and second stage Front End Engineering Design (FEED) study for a 100 MWe biomass power station.

Fichtner provided Technical Advisory services across Next Energy’s portfolio which included both forward funded and post construction technical due diligence and completion services.

We performed duties under our role as the Lenders Technical Adviser and Owner’s Engineer for the Mersey Bioenergy CHP Plant, in Widnes.

We provided full technical due diligence of the project on behalf of the investors for the Margam Biomass Project, a biomass combustion project fueled by waste wood.
